The House of Mario Minardi
About Us
Our footwear is developed slowly, in close collaboration with the workshops that have made it for three decades — a process shaped as much by patience as by design.

Our intention is to improve what surrounds the wearer, and to make objects worth keeping for a lifetime.

Exceptional Savoir
From the first drawing of every pair, we build an in-depth knowledge of the last, the leather, and the hand that finishes it.
We develop long-term products that are durable and repairable, and that age more gracefully than they wear.

Attention To The Details
Durability and feasibility are the two measures our approach is held to. Everything else follows from them.

Our focus is footwear made in close cooperation with engineers, craftsmen and the people who wear it — an approach proven to produce shoes worth repairing rather than replacing.

A shoe is finished when there is nothing further to take away from it.

Made to be repaired
The welted construction lets a sole be replaced without disturbing the upper, so a pair can return to the workshop many times over its life. It is the least visible part of the shoe, and the reason it lasts.
